Last week of production!

Hey guys, how’s it going? This week we switched from the Lightweightpipeline to the HighDefenitionRenderPipeline in Unity. Without going into too much details, this basically means the game is going to look a lot nicer from now on!

That however caused us a whooolee lot of trouble, so this week we mainly tried fixing that. So this devlog won't be a big update.

We got some final meshes in there, that were still necessary. (Like the bloody pond, that switches color the more bodies you dump in it)
Besides that we tried out some new lighting, since we had whole lot of trouble in general with the project-file, this still needs some refinement.

We have some extra particles and blood decals everywhere (although you can't see that in the screenshots)

Aside from just graphics we did added Sounds to the game! No need to worry though, the sounds you can hear right now are just placeholders (Although I think my impressions and voice-overs are great).

I’d love to show some sound here but that’s rather difficult with images.

Aside from Sounds we also improved our lobby. We added some colors to the names in the lobby. When you join the game, you get a color assigned. Afterwards, when the game starts that color will show you which sheep or farmer you are (that last part is still missing).

Lastly, we added all UI graphics we still had lying around to the game giving the game a more complete look.

Right now the game has a few problems you are going to notice but hopefully by next week our issues are resolved and we can write a bigger update as we go into the polish-phase!
